Located on Biscayne Bay between the Everglades and the Atlantic Ocean, Miami is the 2nd largest city in the State of Florida. Major sports teams for Miami include the Miami Dolphins (football), Miami Heat (basketball), the Florida Marlins (baseball), and the Florida Panthers (hockey). Horse racing is popular, with Gulfstream Park offering races from January through April and Calder Race the rest of the year. Jai-Alai is a regional game played at areas throughout the area; major venues include Dania Fronton and Miami Fronton.
